Come descritto nella locandina a fianco che è possibile ingrandire, il programma prevede osservazioni al sempre valido telescopio " Giovanni Roccati " che si trova sul tetto dell'edificio. Da osservare una bellissima falce di Luna crescente (fase al 38%), le costellazioni invernali che vanno a tramontare, le bellissime costellazioni primaverili che salgono al meridiano e, per finire in bellezza, Saturno che si ripresenta con gli anelli ben visibili!

Spectacular FlyBy DISCOVERY + ISS Romagna! Discovery from the ISS starts
Last night at 19:18 it was possible to admire one of the most spectacular passages of the ISS by the shuttle Discovery early (in a "comet") already released and in preparation for the return phase which must happen today.
We tried to capture the event and, for that that it was possible without excessive demands, mode decidedly amateur and improvised ... I would say that it was not bad! The What was interesting in the wake of the shuttle caused by the expulsion of waste water that crystallizes immediately on ice (never seen before!) and Henry's in the picture! :-)

I made the frames of the transit. The first relates to the previous evening, Monday ', in which the transition took me by surprise and is a little rough ... but last night I used a tripod! I call them acceptable results whereas I used an ordinary compact camera :-)
Watching them in sequence you see the transit ... but I also have a movie (low res) where you see the dots in transit and a bit of wake ... but the individual photos are much better. serves much better resolution for the night in movie mode.
Meanwhile ... we tried.
