Shuttle Discovery back to the launch Pad39A

Yesterday, February 1, 2011, the Space Shuttle Discovery has reached again Pad 39A of the NASA Kennedy Space Center.

It 's the second time that the Discovery reaches its launch pad to enable the start of STS-133 that is directed to the ISS (International Space Station), postponed several times in recent months.

Discovery had been back to the VAB on 22 December to carry out new tests, which then led to the decision to NASA Managers make new repairs because of cracks found on the middle section of the tank.

have been repaired, as they have been reinforced throughout the main building on January 28 and now next step is to run the "Leak checks" or tests to verify that no leakage during the loading of propellants (test scheduled for next Friday, February 4).

mission STS-133 is planned (scheduled) for Thursday, February 24, 2011 with the launch at 22:50 (Italian time). Maybe

Fingers crossed this time?
